Sure, you have to scramble to pull money together in the moment, but wouldn't it be so cool if the perfect high-paying job fell into your lap now that you're searching for one? 

Sometimes that hindsight really is 20/20. You might not realize how much your job has been stressing you until you actually unclench your jaw and realize you never have to listen to your former boss ever again. An email from that job will never again find you! No more scolding for being 5 minutes late returning from lunch or for missing on Slack message. You're free as a bird, and you have a world of possibilities lying right at your fingertips!

  • These people shared the reasons why they were fired, and they range from silly to absurd to just plain nonsensical. Some things just truly are out of your control… If the bosses and higher-ups decide you've got to go, that will happen with haste.

    DrVonP penfaten I got fired for requesting more hours because it's "insolent" to do so. The same manager who fired me was constantly complaining about not being able to staff the overnight shifts. These are the same people who scream "nobody WAnTs to work aNyMoRe!!!"

    WaltzIntelligent98... This happened the other day: I work in a hospital setting and I had a coworker fired for yelling at a patient. The patient was clearly having a bad day and not even talking to my coworker, but for some reason colleague took it personally. Not exact convo but something like

  • Incredibly funny

    cthulhus_spawn I was fired for not being named Kimberly. I worked at a big box store for a couple of weeks and one manager kept calling me Kimberly even though that's nothing like my name and I was wearing a nametag with my name.

    Even though NotKimberly here got fired, she's got a story for the ages. 

  • Once day I was walking away and she she was screaming "Kimberly!" at me and I didn't turn around because it's not my name and she became irrationally enraged and chased me screaming. I explained, again, that I was not Kimberly. "Who the h I are you then?" "I'm Spawn" pointing to my nametag.

  • Whoa...

    1200_1200 AP clerk went on vacation (her honeymoon) and it became apparent that she just wasn't paying invoices When she was off the person covering her saw all the vendor payment inquiries and then found the printed invoices in the clerk's desk. She just wasn't doing any work
